The world literally stopped when the pandemic hit, borders closed, trips were canceled and everything has gone online. The video calls and ZOOM meetings have become part of our life and it’s going to be a long journey before we will be able to travel freely and more importantly safely.
A lot has happened since the last update, for one I was blessed with a baby boy in early 2020. Thanks to the working-from-home arrangement, I get to stay beside him almost 24/7, and that certainly is a perk.
Being the long-awaited newborn, naturally, he gets all the spotlight, and pampers from friends and relatives. Supreme leader, as we nicknamed him, was born a small baby at just 2.6kg is now growing up into a healthy and chubby boy.
I am glad that I can be there experiencing firsthand his life milestones growing up, from having the first solid food to the first step and not forgetting the naughty moments.
Time flies, a year later and he is now a hyperactive, curious boy that roams around the house, boy-handle (sometimes destroy) everything within his reach.
Looking forward to the post-pandemic world where we can travel again, I am sure Supreme Leader will enjoy meeting new friends and experience different foods and cultures just like the daddy.
